Sedbergh Reunions in Hong Kong and Munich

During September and October, we enjoyed bringing together Old Sedberghians and friends of the School at two overseas reunions, providing a perfect opportunity to reconnect and strengthen our international ties.

On 17th September, we welcomed 26 guests to our Hong Kong drinks reception at the Hong Kong Football Club. Among those attending, we were particularly pleased to have with us a Sedbergh School Rong Qiao alumnus. Building stronger connections with our Chinese partners will be an important part of our efforts to bring Sedberghians closer together worldwide and deepen relationships within our international network for the future. Hosted by Dan Harrison, Executive Head of the Sedbergh Schools Group, and Ben Collins, Director of Development and Alumni, the reception was a brilliant opportunity to catch up with fellow OS and friends of the School and hear the latest news from Sedbergh, shared by Dan.

A few weeks later, on 12th October, our inaugural Munich reunion at the Hotel München Palace brought together 23 guests for an enjoyable evening of conversation and new connections. Representing the School were Robin Pyper, Headmaster; David Milner, Group Director of Marketing and Admissions; and Ben Collins, Director of Development and Alumni. It was great to hear how much everyone valued the opportunity to reconnect, with several guests expressing their hope that the Munich reunion would become a regular fixture.

Both gatherings were a wonderful reminder that the Sedbergh spirit extends far beyond the School gates, bringing people together wherever they may be in the world.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these occasions so special. We look forward to returning to Hong Kong and Munich before too long!
