Through the OS Careers Fairs and through the Careers Talks, held in conjunction with the School, we bring Careers experience to life, to inspire and guide the next generation such that they can capitalise on their early opportunities to lead fulfilling and prosperous lives.
The range of possibilities that the world offers in terms of careers is quite extraordinary. One of the issues is that there are so many choices. Picking the right one can be a challenge. Fortunately for pupils, access to information about the many paths they can take is readily available via the internet. However, this only tells part of the story. We find that the personal experience of OS and parents does much to fill in the gaps, assisting pupils in their decision making.
Of course, making that early decision is one thing. The young professional also needs experience. Many OS and parents offer work experience through their companies. This is a vital part of a pupil’s journey into the professional world.
