Richard’s daughter Susannah tell us her father was a life long champion of Sedbergh and she has many special memories of visiting, watching cricket and rugby matches, trying to kick a rugby ball over the goalposts, and climbing Winder with him. He still wore his OS tie with pride and great affection up to his death.
