- Won the Open Plunge 55 feet Swimming event, July 1949
- Presented a paper at ‘The Forum’ Society titled ‘The Stars and Their Courses’ Summer term 1949.
After Sedbergh Ken took engineering at the University of Leeds. In 1953 he moved to Canada and began his long career which would eventually take him all over Canada and South America. Ken loved sailing, rugby, music, reading, wine and a good cigar. He leaves behind two sons, two daughters, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
